A New School for Children

  • In Cap Haitian a small rural school was about to lose its building due to its inability to pay the $ 3,000 yearly rent, or about $10 per day. Help for Haiti provided the $ 3,000 rent.

    Amazingly, the school leader decided to use the funds to move the school to a building that offered a 50% reduction in rent.  He also used the balance to put a brand new roof on the building. The $ 3,000 paid for all of this and helped 150 children stay dry from the rain in a better place.
