  • Children Entering Marmalade School

Please join us in helping to break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness in Haiti!

    • Donate just $110 to provide lunch to a child for an entire 365-day year.
    • Donate $1200 to provide the funds for a schoolteacher’s full year’s salary. Average wage for a teacher in Haiti.
    • Donate $750 to $2,500 to provide the capital to launch an entire business enterprise. The business that you help to fund today could employ dozens of orphans, like Samuel, in the future.
    • Donate $10,000 to rebuild a church school in need of a roof, cement floor and structural repair. The last school we rebuilt now hosts 250 children!

Pray for us. Pray for Haiti. Pray for the above initiatives, and that God’s guidance and direction will be impressed upon our humble hearts.

Help for Haiti schedules about three trips to Haiti every year. Unlike other missions groups, we don’t go to Haiti to give hand-outs, that is, to build things, give gifts, pray for the people and then leave again. Instead, we go to give hand-ups. We travel to Haiti to hire local Haitians to complete our ongoing projects, to support the local teachers and project managers that we employ, and to build upon our relationships with local families that grow stronger each year. We pray for the people, we build relationships with the children, and we support the advancement of the Haitian community and economy.

A one-week trip with us costs roughly $2000 and, yes, you can fundraise through Help for Haiti. Trips depart from Fort Lauderdale or Miami, Florida, and while in Haiti we will visit our two schools in the north, an orphanage in Cap-Haitien, and a bible college in the Cap-Haitien area among other sites.
